About Craig
With over 25 years of mountain experience, Craig is a Niseko pioneer - his connection to Niseko goes back to 1992. As one of the early international professionals in the region, Craig helped shape the Niseko scene into what it is today. In Niseko he has been a guide, filmmaker, coach, and managed school and guide operations.
Before settling in Hokkaido, Craig worked across Canada and Australia as a ski instructor, race coach, and ski patroller. He holds a Sports Studies degree from Canberra University and trained at the prestigious Australian Institute of Sport.
Craig's mountain resume includes work with Burton, Winterstick, Adventurescope, and more. He's certified at a high professional level in both ski instruction and avalanche safety, and his extensive first aid qualifications ensure you're in safe, capable hands.
Craig is best described as a easy-going adventurous type. Outside of his love for the mountains he has spent a lot of time in the ocean. His current passion is wing foiling, but has spent time surfing, stand-up paddle boarding, and scuba-diving in various parts of the world. He also loves mountain biking and rock climbing.
